The progress of Driving School Courses in steps 1-6 is presented below and more information on the steps can be found in the title links.
Registration
Register for a course at the Helsinki School of Transport or with the course-specific "register here" buttons below on the front page of the training. Click on a title to read several possible sign-up info.
Driving license permit
Apply for a Driving License immediately at the beginning of the course electronically in the Traficom self-service service or with a traditional application form at either our or Ajovarma's office. If necessary, also read the driving license guide by clicking on the title.
Theory lessons
Take at least the compulsory domain hours included in the course or training and start independent theory study with the login credentials of the Webauto learning environment, which you will receive immediately upon registration. Also, if necessary, read the theory lesson guide by clicking on the title.
Theory test
If possible, take the theory test as early as 1 month before the age requirement is met at Ajovarma's office, and before that, practice sufficiently independently, using as many course materials and learning environments as possible. If necessary, also read the theory test guide by clicking on the title.
Driving classes
It is a good idea to start driving lessons only when sufficient theoretical knowledge has been acquired so that you can learn more effectively and comfortably during driving lessons. It is a good idea to take driving lessons several times a week closely, especially just before the handling and driving test. If necessary, also read the driving lessons by clicking on the title.
Handling- and Driving test
The handling and driving tests are also organized by Ajovarma and can only be booked and completed once the theory test has been passed. The right to drive is valid immediately after the driving test has been passed. Congratulations to the new driver! If necessary, also read the handling and driving test by clicking on the title.
The courses start with a four-hour theory part and independent study in the Webauto learning environment by logging in as soon as you have registered with the IDs you received.

During the office hours Mon-Thu 8-22, Fri-Sat 8-16 or alternatively in a live teacher group in a virtual classroom . Let us know how to do it in advance!
So now EAS, RTK and A2 / A upgrade classes can be done also on Saturdays!
Starting information will be arranged at a jointly agreed time as needed.
After you sign up , you can still change your course package or start time at no cost by notifying us before the due date for your first installment. Of course, the course package can always be supplemented later, e.g. additional driving hours. If you cancel your participation after registration, we will charge a minimum service fee of € 39.

Booking
You can make an appointment for a driving simulator or passport photography on this page, but you can make an appointment for normal driving lessons by logging in to the Webauto student management and learning environment OR calling and Whatsapp +358 40 576 2015.
What kind of appointments are you booking?
Appointments booked through the appointment system, such as passport descriptions, will be held at the South Hague office at Vihdintie 8. You can also inquire about other times and book by calling or Whatsapp +358 40 576 2015.
In addition, we take passport photos within daily changing opening hours without an appointment. Thus, the appointment system does not show all possible separately agreed times between driving hours or at the end of working days.

Toimisto avoinna normaalisti Ma-To klo 10-18 ja palvelee aktiivisesti monipuolisilla yhteydenottotavoilla. Lisäksi toimisto on avoinna aina, kun open -valo on päälllä myös muinakin aikoina. Tarkasta päiväkohtainen aukioloaika, jonka mukaan olemme auki usein myös perjantaisin. Erityisesti kesälllä panostamme kuitenkin ajotuntien saatavuuteen, joten varaathan ajan tarvittaessa toimistolla käymiseen, koska olemme mahdollisesti päiväkohtaisten aukioloaikojen mukaan avoinna heikommin.
Ammattitaidon ja itsensä jatkuva kehittäminen, opetettaviin ajokorttiluokkiin erikoistuminen sekä täydellä sydämellä työhön omistautuneisuus on myös työssä jaksamisen, työyhteisön hyvinvoinnin ja hyvän asiakaspalvelun kannalta ensisijaisen tärkeää.
Kattava valikoima mopoja (AM120-luokan skootterit ja vaihdemopo), moottoripyöriä (A1/A2/A-luokat) ja henkilöautoja (B-luokan manuaali- ja automaattivaihteistolla).
Toimistopalvelut on keskitetty Etelä-Haagaan ja verkkoon, jossa käytössäsi on monipuoliset yhteydenottotavat, ilmoittautumislomakkeet (verkkomaksu, erämaksu tai rahoitus). Kotisivuilta löytyy myös aloitusinfo ja kurssiohjeet.
Ajotunnit alkavat eri puolilta pääkaupunkiseutua toimipisteen lisäksi myös aloitus- ja jokerialoituspisteistä ma-pe klo 8-18 erillisen sopimuksen mukaan. Katso alla olevasta kartasta toimi-, aloitus- ja jokerialoituspisteiden, sekä ajovarman tutkintotoimistojen sijainnit ja tiedot. Ajosimulaattoritunnit edullisesti toimipisteessä Etelä-Haagassa ma-to klo 12-18 tai erillisen sopimuksen mukaan.
Nyt vuonna 2020 uudistetut kotisivut on nyt entistä informatiivisemmat ja selkeämmät, sekä paremmin yhteistyössä sosiaalisen median kanssa. Lisäksi ajanvarausjärjestelmät ja yhteydenottotavat, kuten Autokoulun Chat on helposti käytettävissä suoraan kotisivuilta.
Kotisivujen ajanvarausjärjestelmillä voit varata ajan passikuvaukseen ja uuteen Suomalaiseen Drive -ajosimulaattoriin. Lisäksi Webauto oppimisympäristöön kirjautumalla voit myös varata ajotunteja manuaali- tai automaattivaihteiselle autolle tai opiskella itsenäisesti lukemalla sähköistä ajokorttiluokkakohdaista oppikirjaa tai tekemällä itsearviointi- ja tasotehtäviä/kokeita, harjoittelemalla Netreeri teoriakoeharjoittelu ohjelmistolla, sekä hyödyntämällä opetusvideoita ja -tiedostoja. Myös mm. EAS- ja RTK-verkkotunnit voi suorittaa Webautossa valvomon aukioloaikoina heti ilmoittauduttuasi kurssille.
Monipuolisesti kurssipaketteja selkeästi esiteltynä yksilöllisiin tarpeisiin ja vapaasti valittavissa heti ilmoittautumisen yhteydessä. Myös maksaminen onnistuu heti monipuolisilla verkkomaksutavoilla, rahoituksella tai useissa erissä sähköpostilaskutuksella.
